Hello Everyone! It was truly a pleasure to get together with about a dozen of you in December  2025 for our Festive gathering at the Ottawa Cancer Foundation’s beautiful facilities. There was an abundance of food and good cheer, followed by the sharing and caring portion afterwards, each with our own unique journey yet also having much in common.  Interestingly, even though Zoom was available, nobody joined us on line for this particular event. The Toronto/Southern Ontario Support Group is having its next Zoom Meeting on Tuesday, March 31st from 7:00 -9:00 pm.  The meeting is open to all patients and caregivers who are affected by Waldenstrom’s.  Join us as we share experiences, concerns and questions about our WM journey. Hello everyone, Our next Metropolitan Toronto Support Group in-person Coffee Club meeting will be on Monday, April 27th at  10:00 am.  We will meet at the Moretti Caffe in the Soho Hotel (328 Wellington Street West).  We don't meet to formally discuss WM or share our journeys in a structured way - though those conversations do sometimes happen naturally one-to-one.  Mostly we just talk about everyday life and enjoy making new friends with others who also live with Waldenstrom's. For those who have not attended yet but might be interested, we'd like you to know that everyone who has joined one of these informal gatherings has truly enjoyed it. Hello everyone!   Our inaugural Canadian Shield hybrid support group meeting went very well!  There were eight people who came in person and two more joined us on line.  Thank you to those of you who sent me their regrets due to travel or medical appointments and to those of you who were able to attend our gathering.  I am truly grateful for the caring, empathy and respect shown by each person as we shared our stories.  The WM community is undeniably special.
