We will have a "sharing" meeting via Zoom, and are hoping to highlight a couple of personal stories.
On the agenda will be a discussion of the June 16 WMFC national Zoom presentation by Dr. Christine Chen on current Canadian WM treatments. If you missed it, the recording has been posted on the WMFC website - how to watch it is explained here. Regarding the date of this meeting, one of the Support Group Leaders said, "it is my fond wish that all of us will be fully vaccinated by then". The Atlantic support group will continue to meet every 6 weeks or so on Zoom until the COVID situation is in the rear-view mirror. Want to learn more about the Canadian trial landscape? If your answer is "yes", then register for the upcoming webinar "Canadian Clinical Trials and Access for Lymphoma Patients" on Tuesday, June 29th from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST. Clinical trials can provide access to new treatments not otherwise available in Canada. Dr. Neil Berinstein from the Odette-Sunnybrook Cancer Center in Toronto, who recently spoke to us about his own WM clinical trial, will be presenting.
