Are you in Watch and Wait, or are you considering your first WM treatment?  Then this presentation and Q&A is for you!

Our first National Zoom meeting of 2024 will be held Wednesday, March 27th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (which, of course, is 9:00 Atlantic, 7:00 Central, 6:00 Mountain, and 5:00 p.m. Pacific).

Making decisions at the time of your first therapy can be a very stressful and anxious time.  Getting more information is one way to handle this stress and anxiety.  So our topic, “Decisions Around Front-Line WM Therapy”, is just what you need.

And our presenter?  None other than our rock-star of Canadian clinical WM research, Dr. Neil Berinstein of Toronto’s Sunnybrook Medical Centre and the Principal Investigator of the Canadian BRAWM clinical trial.  And he has lots of information to help you through that decision making.

He will present a brief review of WM and the criteria for starting therapy, followed by a discussion of front-line therapy options in Canada, and a few case studies that you can compare yourself to.

And he’s guaranteed us lots of time for everyone’s favourite: Q&A!!

(And speaking of the BRAWM trial, as we recently reported, it is close to being fully enrolled.  So if you’re in imminent need of your first WM treatment, this is an opportunity to ask questions, so you can then discuss your treatment options with your hematologist.)

Put the date and time into your calendar, now — March 27th, 8:00 p.m. Eastern.  Don’t forget — here’s the Zoom link, so you’ll be able to join us for what should be an educational and informative event!
