My name is Raffaela Mercurio and I am a volunteer and Board Member of the WMFC. I am also the Membership Services chair and look after Support Groups across Canada. I also co-lead the Toronto/Southern Ontario Group.
The Eastern Ontario (Ottawa) support group has gone through a transition phase with the loss of Murray Shaw and the resignation of Janet Parcher Cherry. Their work was invaluable and I am sure much appreciated by all the members. I am volunteering to take over temporarily as leader of this group. Although I do not live in the area I have been a support group leader for several years and being on the Board has helped me keep in touch with what is happening in the WM world.
SAVE THE DATE: The next support group meeting will be held on Friday, April 5th from 1-3pm. The link will be sent to you a few days prior to the meeting. The agenda includes some announcements followed by an opportunity to share experiences related to living with WM.
