National event: an update on the nemtabrutinib trial with Dr. David MacDonald

Hello everyone, It is with great pleasure that we will be hosting Dr. David MacDonald, hematologist at the Ottawa General Hospital and  Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. As its  principal investigator, Dr. MacDonald will provide an update on the new nemtabrutinib clinical trial at the Ottawa hospital He will also cover more generally how he approaches the treatment of WM in his practice. This will be followed by a live Q&A session. LLSC Webcast: How CAR T Is Changing How We Treat Blood Cancers

As part of a four-day event entitled "The National Leukemia Conference", LLSC will kick off with a keynote session on how CAR-T technology is being used to treat blood cancer.  This is more background on how CAR-T can be used; specific applications of the technology on WM are still a ways away. For those interested in educating themselves on the basics of some new technologies, Lymphoma Canada is hosting an education webinar series this fall on Novel Targeted Therapies.  None of this will be specific to WM, but we can hope that in the coming years, these technologies might be applicable to us, as well. For those interested in educating themselves on the basics of some new technologies, Lymphoma Canada is hosting an education webinar series this fall on Novel Targeted Therapies.  None of this will be specific to WM, but we can hope that in the coming years, these technologies might be applicable to us, as well.
