The Toronto WM Support Group consists of WM patients and caregivers in the Toronto region (in fact from Hamilton to Kingston) who meet together for an evening every second month in Oakville to talk to others wrestling with this same strange disease and exchange information. (The turnout varies from meeting to meeting and usually averages about 20.) The Toronto Support Group is chaired by Arlene Hinchcliffe, who takes on this task in the memory of her father, who had WM for some 15 years, before support facilities such as this one or the IWMF were available. If you know a WM patient or caregiver in the region who is not yet a member and might like to join the Toronto Support Group, please have them call Arlene at (905) 337-2455. They can come to every meeting or, as their schedule permits, just occasional ones.
